As an expressive older Italian woman who did little to protect her skin from aging, I had aquired some fairly deep facial wrinkles. Over the past few years I saw a few estheticians for facials and was told that little could improve my skin short of a face lift. Four months ago I began microneedling treatments with Natalie. I have completed 6 treatments and, to my delight, there has been a lot of improvement to the areas around my cheeks and eyes. My skin is smoother with less lines and it doesn't sag as much. I am now less self conscious about my skin and am hopeful by the continued improvement. I am looking forward to another series of treatments.
When Natalie suggested that microneedling treatments could help with my acne scars, I was hopeful but also a little skeptical: I've paid good money and endured a lot of pain to improve the texture of my infuriatingly acne-prone skin. My dermatologists are great in all other respects, but I've had nothing but disappointment with attempts to improve the rolling acne scars defacing my chin.
Anyway, I started microneedling about a month and a half ago, so I'm only about halfway through the process, but I have to say I'm *really* excited about the results so far - my skin texture has already improved a lot. The needle roller-things are also much less uncomfortable than most of the treatments I've undergone with my dermatologists, so I'm actually looking forward to the next three treatments.
